Greece, 11 Albanians escape from prison

11 Albanian prisoners escaped from the high security prison in Trikala, 320 km from Athens.

BBC says that the institution was attacked with firearm and grenades, leaving two employees wounded. The prisoners used ropes to get on the ground.

The fire exchange continued even inside the prison and the situation was solved only after the intervention of the commando forces.

Police raised several roadblocks and they are currently using a helicopter to find the prisoners and their collaborators.

According to the Greek media, the 11 fugitives are Albanian citizens, sentenced for robbery and theft.

Police found 400-500 bullet shells and traces of the grenade explosions.

“Kathimerini” newspaper says on its web page that the prison was attacked by 6 to 16 people.

A Prosecutor was sent at the area, while the Ministry of Justice will investigate how the automatic rifles entered the prison.

Another escape was planned last month in Triakala with the help of a helicopter, but the fast intervention of the police made Panajotis Vlasos fail with his attempt.

This took place one week after another Albanian prisoner tried to escape by taking six people hostage. /top-channel.tv/

Kim Kardashian Talks Baby Names, Pregnancy Cravings and Weight Gain

Contrary to reports, Kim Kardashian and Kanye Westhaven't settled on a baby name. Though several media outlets claimed the couple had agreed to name their daughter North -- and others said the name would begin with the letter K -- the pregnant 32-year-old has other ideas in mind.
"I think it would be really cute because Kanye and I are both K's, but half the names on our list aren't K's," she told Extra of choosing a moniker for their firstborn. "We still have time, [so we'll do] whatever feels right." Kardashian added that her rapper boyfriend, 35, "wants something that's unique."

Kardashian also addressed the scrutiny surrounding her pregnant body, which has been at times mocked in the press. "There are maybe two or three covers just this week that say I am 200 pounds. I'm like, 'You are 60 pounds off here!'" she laughed. "It wouldn't even bother me if I gained all the weight. And I have the biggest sweet tooth and I love junk food. Being pregnant I don't like any of it."
The fashion designer said that aside from eating carrots and celery with ranch dressing, she hasn't had any unusual cravings. "I'm waiting for the moments when someone's like, 'Let's go to McDonald's and Taco Bell!'" she joked. "That's not happening for me and I'm kind of sad about it."
Being pregnant hasn't been a smooth ride for the twice-wed star, whose divorce from NBA playerKris Humphries has yet to be finalized. "I'm not going to lie and be like, 'Oh, it's been amazing and I've adjusted great,'" the Temptation actress tells Extra. "At the beginning it was tough for me when your body changes so much, but once you kind of grasp that and embrace it, it's amazing."
After a pregnancy scare in early March, Kardashian added that she's easing up on her work commitments. "I kind of split up my days. I'll do half a day of work and then I'll do half day of really just resting and taking care of myself," she says, "but I haven't been tired at all."

Cristiano Ronaldo Would Be Foolish to Make Return to Manchester United

Ever since making a move from Manchester United to Real Madrid in the summer of 2009, Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a return to his former club.
After all, the star winger did say that he was "with Manchester in body and soul" after making his £80 million transfer to Los Blancos (per BBC Sport). Thus, a return to OldTrafford—to the Theater of Dreams—perhaps wasn't completely out of the question for the star winger.
Yet the reality is that a move from Ronaldo back to Manchester United isn't going to happen anytime in the near future. As much as Sir Alex Ferguson reportedly wants itand as much as the fans definitely want it, there's no way United can entice Ronaldo into returning to Old Trafford.
It would be surprising if the Portuguese international ever left Madrid at all./http://bleacherreport.com/

Number of dead pigs retrieved from waters in and near China’s financial hub of Shanghai has reached 12,566

Authorities in Shanghai plucked 611 dead pig carcasses Saturday from Huangpu river, which provides drinking water to the city’s 23 million residents. In total, 8,965 dead pigs have been found in the river since March 8.
The swollen and rotting pigs are largely believed to be from the upstream city of Jiaxing in neighboring Zhejiang province, but Zhao Shumei, a deputy vice mayor, said it was inconclusive to say all the pigs were from her city.
Jiaxing — where small hog farms are prevalent — reported Friday night that it had recovered 3,601 dead pigs from its streams, according to state media.
The head veterinarian for China’s Agriculture Ministry, Yu Kangzhen, who has traveled to the region to investigate the deaths, told state media Saturday that there has been no major swine epidemic, but said some samples tested positive for the common porcine circovirus and the epidemic diarrhea virus.
Yu also said cold weather and fluctuating temperatures have caused a spike in deaths among baby pigs.
Villagers have told state media that pig dumping is on the rise, following police campaigns against the illicit trade of pork products harvested from diseased pigs that were illegally sold, instead of properly disposed of.
Shanghai authorities have repeatedly assured residents that tap water is safe, but locals remain worried about water contamination. -
